HOUSTON -- A man faces charges after police say he used his baby as a human shield.
Officials say they had their guns drawn while trying to arrest Hector Delagarza on theft charges last week.
According to police, Delagarza picked up a child and held it between himself and police.
He’s now charged with endangering a child.
Police have not said if the child is related to Delagarza.
