HOUSTON – One man was found shot to death in his northwest Houston apartment Saturday evening, police said.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to a call of a shooting at 7:30 p.m. at the Hammerly Oaks apartments in the 8700 block of Hammelry Boulevard near Hollister Road.
When police arrived, they found a man dead with a gunshot wound inside his upstairs apartment.
HPD homicide investigators said that the shooting appears to be a drug deal that went bad. Officers discovered drugs inside the apartment unit, but did not say what type or how much was found.
Police did not release any information on possible suspects.
