KATY, Texas – The Katy ISD Police Department issued a Stranger Danger alert after two men tried to kidnap a student Tuesday morning in west Harris County.

According to police, the incident happened around 6:45 a.m. near the intersection of Park Brush and Park Valley.

Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said two suspicious men driving an older model green, 4-door Chevrolet approached a Memorial Parkway Junior High student and tried to grab the child.

The MPJH student was able to kick one of the suspects and run away, deputies said.

The two suspects were wearing beanie-style caps pulled down over their faces.
