FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Authorities have released photos of two suspects in connection with an aggravated robbery of a Katy area business Monday morning.
According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, the robbery happened around 8:35 a.m. at the Walgreens located in the 9800 block of South Mason Road.
Investigators said a man and a woman entered the store brandishing a semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash. After getting cash, the duo left the building.
The couple is believed to be responsible for a similar robbery, which occurred earlier in the Katy area at a CVS Pharmacy, deputies said.
The woman was wearing a camouflaged-patterned pullover hoodie and tan Timberline-style work boots, deputies said. The man was wearing a dark beanie cap and a pink or light red sweatshirt with darker stripes from the shoulders to the wrists.
The suspects fled the scene in a silver compact four-door with tinted windows, deputies said. There was a noticeable crease over the right rear passenger fender.
Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
