HOUSTON—A woman accused of trying to hire a hitman to kill her husband, was in court Friday morning. Police said they caught Catherine Shamp on tape offering a confidential informant $20,000 for her husband’s murder.

During the proceedings, the judge raised Shamp’s bond to $75,000.

She is still in jail, but if she does bond out she’ll have to wear an ankle monitor and make curfew, say officials.

Shamp is charged with solicitation of capital murder.

Why would she be offered any bond at all? She was on tape trying to have him killed. Why should she be able to breathe the same air that he does?

Problem is, unfortunately, INNOCENT until proven guilty. Look at the people who actually DID KILL, like all these baby murderers, they got bond, she is accused of trying to kill her husband.

Has this fool ever heard of DIVORCE? And to involve her daughter. How low can a mother get? To the criminals out there, it isn't IF you get caught, it is WHEN you get caught. Channel 11, your little word game to make a post is annoying at best.
