HOUSTON – Investigators need witnesses to come forward in a deadly hit-and-run accident.
James Price Clemmer, 77, was struck and killed around 10:30 a.m. on June 29.
Police said Clemmer was walking in the street near the 300 block of Yale and the Katy Freeway feeder when he was hit by a car.
The car fled the scene without stopping, and police said witnesses they’ve spoken to didn’t get a good look at the vehicle or the driver.
But investigators said there were several cars in and around the area when the accident occurred, and they’re urging anyone else who may have witnessed the crash or who might have information on the suspect to call Crime Stoppers.
