HOUSTON – Police are investigating a shooting from early Sunday morning in southwest Houston that sent one man to the hospital, according to the Houston Police Department.
HPD said that they responded to a report of a shooting at about 3 a.m. in a parking lot off the South Loop near Hearth Drive.
When they arrived, they found one man shot in what was described as a very crowded scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for the gunshot wound that was not life-threatening.
HPD said that no one has been arrested.
