HOUSTON -- Houston police have released surveillance video of a man suspected of using funds from a victim's bank account to make purchases at a Walgreens in southwest Houston.
The victim, who is from the Dallas/Fort Worth area, said she noticed unauthorized transactions being made with her debit card at the Walgreens located at 8535 South Braeswood around noon on March 2. She observed the transactions after they were conducted and quickly filed a report with the Houston Police Department.
Investigators said they were able to retrieve video evidence of the suspect during the transactions. The video shows a man at an ATM, swiping what appears to be a card with the woman's account information on it. Police said the suspect then used information from the victim's debit card to make more than $300 worth of purchases of gift cards at the cash register.
