HOUSTON – Police are investigating the shooting death of a man found near a home Sunday morning in southwest Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers were called out at 9:45 a.m. to a residence in the 12400 block of Tambourine Drive where they found a man lying face down on the side of the vacant home.
Police said the man was dead with a gunshot wound to the neck.
Police are just as puzzled as the neighbors. They did not find any shell casing at the scene.
