HOUSTON – A 64-year-old man faces a murder charge in connection with the fatal stabbing of his girlfriend Saturday night in southwest Houston, police said.
According to the Houston Police Department, George Horace Richardson went over to his girlfriend Doris Williams' house in the 3400 block of Tidewater around 7:30 p.m. and they got into an argument.
The boyfriend then grabbed a knife and stabbed the 49-year-old woman in the chest, police said.
When police arrived, they found Richardson in the kitchen performing CPR on Williams. Despite everyone's efforts, she did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Richardson was then placed under arrest.
