HOUSTON – One man is dead and other was hospitalized after a shooting late Friday in west Houston, police said.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers were dispatched to a shooting on Havendale at 10:30 p.m. When police arrived at the scene, they found two men in their early 20s who had been shot.
One of the victims was transported to a local hospital in stable condition, while the other one was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Several shell casings were found near the car where the victims were shot, police said. The driver’s side window had multiple bullet holes in it.
Investigators said that they have no suspect information at this time and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers or the HPD’s Homicide Division.
