HOUSTON – A Houston man arrived at his ex-girlfriend’s job with a gun Monday, then beat and kidnapped the woman, according to Houston police.
Robert Earl Williams, 26, was charged with kidnapping and aggravated assault.
Police said Williams’ ex-girlfriend was working as a security guard at a business in the 300 block of Canal Street when he showed up to her job.
She ran and tried to lock herself in the guard shack, but Williams allegedly kicked the door in and began beating her.
Police said he then forced her into a car at gunpoint and drove around with her for a while, before eventually deciding to drop her off at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Williams was arrested later that day and given no bond.
