HOUSTON – Investigators are trying to sort out a shooting Tuesday afternoon at West Oaks Mall that could be a case of road rage.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting took place when one car was rear-ended by another vehicle as they were both entering the mall parking lot.
The driver of the first car got out of his vehicle and shot at the second car, but hit a third vehicle behind it blowing out the tires.
Deputies arrested the shooter, but no charges have been filed yet. Deputies said the second vehicle left the scene before they had arrived and has not been located yet.
