HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A male teenager was hospitalized after being shot during a violent home invasion Saturday night in northwest Harris County, deputies said.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. at a home on Franz near North Fry Road in the Westlake Forest area.
Deputies said six people were in the back yard of the residence visiting in a converted large shed when a masked gunman burst came in and ordered everyone to strip down.
The 16-year-old teenager started to resist and was shot in the head, deputies said. He was taken by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital in stable condition.
The suspect then fled the scene, deputies said. A description of the suspect has not been released.
