HARRIS COUNTY – Authorities are searching for a suspect in connection with the murder of a Harris County man in February, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Rashad Tate is charged with the murder of Carlos Jones Martin in March after witnesses said they saw Tate and two other male suspects enter the victim’s home at 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 and leave through the backyard.
Authorities were contacted after witnesses observed blood stains throughout the house by peering through the home’s windows.
Deputies said that when they arrived at Martin’s residence in the 13200 block of Benford Drive they forced their way into the home. There they found the victim stabbed to death.
