HOUSTON—Two suspects are still at large after they shot and killed a man to steal his car early Saturday morning, according to Houston deputies.
Around 1:20 a.m., deputies arrived at the Shadow Ridge Apartments at 12203 Old Walters Road to find a man who had been shot twice.
Desmond Jones, 21, was transported by LifeFlight and later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigators say he had just returned from a late night fast food run when two men approached him and shot him twice, one bullet striking his head.
The suspects stole the victim’s vehicle, a silver 2012 Chrysler 300 with rims. The car was a rental and police are tracking down the license plate.
