HOUSTON—The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide investigators have charged a suspect in the shooting death of one man and the wounding of several others at a northwest Houston club late last year.
Henry Demond Dorsey, 19, is charged with murder.
Police said on December 9, 2012, club bouncers intervened in a fight between two groups of customers at Club Le Cave in the 4700 block of W. FM 1960. They ejected Dorsey and four others from the club. Dorsey came back with a gun and began shooting at the bouncers who were standing near the main entrance, then fled the scene.
Timothy Powell was shot and died at the scene. Three other men also suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to area hospitals for treatment. A fifth man was also injured in the chaos.
Dorsey is being held on $50,000 bond in the Harris County Jail.
