PASADENA, Texas – A 65-year-old woman was held at gun point moments after she finished bowling.

The suspects stole her purse and pushed her to the ground. It happened at Armadilla Lanes on Preston Avenue in Pasadena.

“He came out around behind my car with a gun, like this he said give me my purse (expletive), and I just froze. I said, ‘I can’t do that.’ I just kept staring at him. And he finally said come on, give it to me and I just kept staring at him. He jerked it off my arm. Threw me on the ground and ran off with it,” said Bernie, the victim.

The victim just finished playing with her bowling league – something she has been doing for the last six years.

“I was in shock, when he came around the corner, I went, ‘Ahhh, oh my,” said Bernie.

Hours later, the suspects were seen filling up several cars at a local gas station off Martin Luther King Boulevard and Cullen, with Bernie’s credit card. The 65-year-old said it’s not the money she cares about.

“He needs to think about what he is doing to a person. That person…How does he know what that person is going through. It destroys your whole life,” said Bernie.

Pasadena police released surveillance video of the suspects. They want to talk to the man in the knit cap. He is wearing converse sneakers and is riding in a black Chevrolet Impala with custom rims in the front and missing rims in the back.

Bernie, who is a breast cancer survivor, says she has been bowling for 40 years. Now, her sense of security has been destroyed – she is paranoid. She wants the suspects behind bars.
