HOUSTON -- Two Houston teenagers have been arrested in connection with a strong-arm robbery, and possibly other cases, in Fort Bend County, deputies said.
On Sunday, March 2, two males approached a 14-year-old girl and her mother outside a meat market in the 8600 block of Highway 6 in the Houston area of Fort Bend County. One of the males assaulted the girl and stole her cell phone, investigators said.
Later that day, Tony Truong Nguyen, 19, and Andy Duong, 17, were stopped by a Houston Police Department officer on a traffic violation, Fort Bend County deputies said.
Now the two teenagers are being investigated to determine any association with similar robberies that took place the same day in the City of Houston.
Fort Bend County Court-at-Law No. 4 Judge Sandy Bielstein issued warrants for their arrests and they remained in the Fort Bend County Jail under $50,000 bonds.
