CYPRESS, Texas – A 32-year-old former youth pastor charged with sexual assault of a child has reached a plea agreement and will be sentenced in December, authorities said.
Chad foster is accused of raping a 16-year-old girl. According to court documents, Foster met the girl over the summer, while working as a high school youth pastor at the Community of Faith Church on Becker Road in Cypress.
Charges were filed against Foster on November 3, 2011 and he was arrested the same day. Foster is currently out on bond.
No details have been released on the plea deal.
Foster was facing two charges on online solicitation of a minor and three counts of sexual assault of a child.
