HOUSTON—The FBI needs the public’s help to nab an armored car robber and his getaway driver.

The driver held up a Loomis Armored Car Service outside a busy shopping center in broad daylight.

It happened on August 13 at the Movie Tavern at 15719 North Freeway on north Houston.

The suspect threatened the driver with a gun before grabbing a bag of money and running. He escaped in a dark-colored Pontiac sedan.

The robber is described as a black male, about 25 to 30 years old. He was around 6’ tall and weighed about 190 pounds with a medium build. The suspect had a medium complexion and a goatee.  He wore a black t-shirt, black basketball shorts, black Jordan tennis shoes and a black ball cap. He carried a black semiautomatic pistol in his left hand during the robbery.

There is no description available of the getaway driver.
