HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities took guns and drugs from an Humble-area home during an overnight bust.

It happened Wednesday evening at a home on Elmtex Drive near Oak Village Drive south of Humble.

Agents with the U. S. Drug Enforcement Administration used sledgehammers to force their way into the home. At least two people were taken into custody.

Authorities said they found 70 pounds of cocaine and 14 weapons inside the home.

Neighbors said a family of three resides inside the house.

"I was just really shocked because there’s a lady and a baby there," said Patricia Harden.

Another neighbor said he suspected something was going on.

"I thought it was kind of strange that the house got broken into a month or so ago. And then they put this new siding up and all those cameras and there was never no police," said Mike Smith.

A DEA  spokesperson said the bust is all part of an ongoing state investigation.
