HARRIS COUNTY, Texas –- A deputy called for assistance after getting into a scuffle with a suspect outside a north Harris County business early Tuesday.
It was around 5:30 a.m. when an employee going to work spotted a suspicious man outside a business in the 500 block of W. Gulf Bank Road, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said a deputy responded to the scene and got into a scuffle with the man. The deputy used a stun gun to subdue the individual.
Other deputies and Houston police officers arrived at the scene to help take him into custody.
Paramedics looked over both the deputy and the suspect, and the deputy was treated for a few cuts to his hand, deputies said.
