HOUSTON—Deputies are looking for a man who claimed to be a police officer, then pistol-whipped and sexually assaulted a woman Thursday morning in north Harris County, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said.

The woman said she was walking along FM 1960 near Kuykendahl in north Harris County when she was approached by a man in a silver, two-door Toyota. She said he told her he was an undercover police officer, that the neighborhood wasn’t safe, and that he would give her a ride.

Investigators said the woman got into his car, but instead of taking her to where she was going, he drove her to a business center where he pistol whipped and sexually assaulted her.  Then he then drove her to the area of FM 1960 and Imperial Valley where he dropped her off.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS or send a tip via iWatchHarrisCounty.
