Deputies identify body found outside of north Harris County washateria

Authorities have identified a man’s body that was found outside a washateria early Saturday morning in north Harris County, sheriff’s deputies said.

HARRIS COUNTY – Authorities have identified a man’s body that was found outside a washateria early Saturday morning in north Harris County, sheriff’s deputies said.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said that the body of Juan Hernandez, 34, was found shot at about 5 a.m. in the parking lot of the washateria located in the 1100 block of West Road near Veterans Memorial Drive.

Homicide investigators believe that Hernandez was killed while being robbed of his wallet and charcoal grey GMC pickup with the Texas license plate 41LVS9.
