Deputies arrest trio accused of beating pregnant woman during NW Harris County home invasion

Hector Ramirez and Isaias Arellano, both 19, and a 16-year-old juvenile male have been charged with aggravated assault after deputies said they tied up and beat a 21-year-old pregnant woman in her apartment in the 16100 block of Kieth Harrow Boulevard. Investigators said that Ramirez is the father of the victim's infant who had to be delivered with an emergency C-section after the alleged assault.

HARRIS COUNTY – Doctors were forced to perform an emergency Caesarean section on a pregnant woman who deputies said was beaten during a home invasion in northwest Harris County.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call of a home invasion in progress at the victim’s apartment located in the 16100 block of Kieth Harrow Boulevard.

When deputies arrived, they found two men, Hector Ramirez and Isaias Arellano, and a 16-year-old juvenile male in the victim’s home. The 21-year-old victim had been tied up with tape and beaten.

Deputies took the two men, both 19, and the juvenile into custody, and they have been charged with aggravated assault. Investigators have also confirmed that the victim knew all three suspects, including Ramirez who is said to be the father of the newborn infant.

The victim, who was 9 months pregnant at the time, was transported to Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital where an emergency C-section was performed. The infant is currently listed in critical condition and is being closely monitored by physicians.

Investigators did not say what condition the victim was in after the assault.

Deputies said that the victim has two other children who were at the home with the alleged assault occurred.
