HOUSTON—Harris County Sheriff’s Office investigators have arrested and charged three suspects in a home invasion robbery in northeast Harris County.

It happened Wednesday morning at about 4:10 a.m. in the 6400 block of Ackley Drive.

Deputies responded to a panic alarm from the house and when they arrived the residents said three armed men had entered their home by kicking in a back door.

The men had forced the homeowner to turn off the alarm system, but the homeowner was able to press the panic code first, which alerted the sheriff’s office, investigators said.

Deputies said the three men took money from the residents and fled.

A deputy enroute to the incident spotted the suspects’ vehicle and attempted to stop it. The suspects fled, but ended up wrecking their vehicle and fleeing on foot, deputies said. All three suspects were captured and taken into custody.

Carlos Molina, Alejandro Salcido,  and Miguel Lara Hermida are all charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
