HUMBLE, Texas—A 20-year-old Humble man was arrested and charged after he seriously injured a 3-year-old boy, according to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
Isaac Gurrier was charged with felony injury to a child.
The boy was hospitalized in critical condition on December 17 for injuries he received while in Gurrier’s care, investigators said.
Gurrier told investigators he only tackled the child, but medical records show differently. The boy sustained multiple injuries, which doctors say came from more than just a “tackle.”
Gurrier’s bond was set at $30,000.
