HOUSTON -– Houston police responded to an alarm at a CVS store along the North Freeway early Thursday.

The suspects left behind plenty of damage, but they were nowhere to be seen.

The Houston Police Department said officers were called to the store near W. Mount Houston Road around 2:45 a.m. They found the suspects had smashed through the store’s roof, causing damage.

It wasn’t immediately clear what was taken, if anything. HPD said surveillance video may lead to more clues in the case.

Police said the store was closed at the time of the burglary.
