SUGAR LAND -- Sugar Land police are looking for two men who robbed a fast food restaurant on April 11.

Officials said the robbery occurred at the McDonald’s located at 3401 State Highway 6 in Sugar Land.

Police said the men entered through a front door after the restaurant closed at 1:30 a.m. They showed knives, forced two employees into an office and demanded money from a safe. The manager was unable to open the safe, so the suspects left with a small amount of money from a cash drawer.

Officials said a third employee hid in a refrigerator while the crime took place.

Police describe the suspects as Hispanic or black and in their twenties. One man was 5’5” to 5’7” and bald. He was last seen wearing a dark grey t-shirt, sunglasses, dark grey jean shorts and a bandana over his face.

The taller suspect is described as 5’10” to 6’0”. He was last seen wearing black pants, a long-sleeve black shirt with a yellow Batman logo and a hood on the back, a black hat, a light-colored bandana over his face and sunglasses.

Police said the suspects were seen leaving in a black Chevrolet pickup truck.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sugar Land Police Department at 281-275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477).
