Caught on camera: Suspect impersonates police officer

HOUSTON – Authorities are looking for a man caught on camera impersonating a police officer during a robbery of a north Houston recycling business, deputies aid.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect, wearing a black jacket that says “Police” on it, enter the business located in the 10300 block of Antoine on Nov. 8 and demanded cash from the employee.

The suspect led a worker into the office and forced him to open the safe before taking the man’s keys and stealing his 2003 Dodge truck, deputies said.

Surveillance video got clear shots of the suspect, described as Hispanic in his early 30s, standing 5 feet 7 inches and weighing 180 to 190 pounds. He had a mustache and was wearing the aforementioned “Police” jacket, black sunglasses and black pants.
