HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Pct. 3 Deputy Constables were on the lookout for a pair of suspects who ditched their stolen car and ran away on foot during a chase early Thursday.

Deputies said it was around 1:15 a.m. when two men held the car’s owner at gunpoint before speeding away in the Chrysler PT Cruiser, leaving the owner behind unharmed.

A Pct. 3 constable later spotted the car on Sheldon at Wallisville and gave chase. The chase lasted several minutes before the suspects crashed into a chain link fence and ran away on foot.

One of the men was later caught on the other side of a nearby plant complex.
