HOUSTON – A carjacking early Sunday led to a gas pump fire at a north Houston convenience store, police said.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, a male suspect held a woman at gun point at 1 a.m. at a Valero gas station located at Aldine Mail Route and Fern Meadow. The suspect took the victim out of her Chevrolet Tahoe and took off.

As the suspect was fleeing the parking lot, he ran over a gas pump, which caught fire, deputies said.

The suspect got away with the Tahoe and remains at large, deputies said.
