HOUSTON –- Houston police searched early Tuesday for a suspect who broke into a game room on the northside of town.

It happened at a food mart on De Priest Street near St Clair Street around 1:30 a.m.

Houston police said an alarm went off, and when officers arrived they saw the suspect jump off the roof and run away. He was not located.

It's believed the man got away with an unknown amount of cash from gaming machines inside the store, police said.

“We don’t know exactly how much now,” said HPD Lieutenant Larry Crowson. “There is surveillance video, so we’re trying to use that to identify the suspect.”
