Body found dead not far from house party in north Houston subdivision

HOUSTON – Deputies continue to investigate the shooting of a teenager found dead in the driver’s seat of a car in a north Houston subdivision.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the body of 19-year-old Michael Turner Jr. was found in a silver Ford Crown Victoria that had crashed into a billboard in 15500 block of Aldine Westfield.

Turner was found with at least one gunshot wound, deputies said.

Investigators said that were dispatched to a large party where fighting was going on in the 2100 block of Greenbriar Colony. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a large party in the street and outside the residence.

Deputies began breaking up the party when they heard multiple gunshots coming from the intersection of Greenbriar Colony and Aldine Westfield.

When deputies located where the gunfire was coming from, they discovered Turner’s body.
