HOUSTON—Authorities are searching for a suspect who boldly robbed a bank inside of a busy Walmart in northwest Harris County Monday morning.
According to the FBI, the suspect walked into the store located at 7075 W FM 1960 around 10 a.m. and went up to a teller’s window at Woodforest Bank. He handed the teller a note, demanding cash and threatening that he had a gun. After the teller complied, the suspect walked out and fled the scene in a silver Pontiac Grand Prix.
It happened at a Woodforest Bank located inside a Walmart at 7075 W FM 1960 around 10 a.m.
It was not known how many suspects went inside the bank or exactly how much they got away with, but Harris County Sheriff’s deputies found the getaway vehicle about an hour later at a shopping center on Veterans Memorial and 1960. They also found cash inside the vehicle.
