HOUSTON -- A woman suspected of setting her home on fire is in custody Monday night.
The fire is only about three miles north of the area in the Heights where 15 fires have erupted around 9th, 11th and 12th Streets in the past several weeks.
Monday’s fire was in the 1900 block of Mansfield in north Houston.
A fire investigator said a woman who lives in the home confessed to starting the fire.
Authorities took her to a hospital for a psychological evaluation.
