HOUSTON – Two armed men held up a UPS truck driver Thursday in northwest Harris County.

The two masked armed men took the UPS truck from the driver around 9:45 a.m. as the driver was making deliveries in the 11000 block of Little Barley Court. The truck contained 300 packages.

Investigators said the men drove the delivery truck to a dirt road nearly three miles away on Deborah Road.

Witnesses reported seeing the men loading packages up into a U-Haul truck before speeding off.

Nearby surveillance cameras from an automotive shop captured the U-Haul truck leaving. It is unclear what was stolen, or what the thieves were looking for.

Deputies were able to track the truck with the GPS tracking device that is installed inside.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
