HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- Deputies said a woman called 911 late Thursday after getting into an argument with a man in a northeast Harris County parking lot.

The responding deputy then had to chase after the man in his car, officials said.

It started around 11:30 p.m. on the Eastex Freeway frontage road near Aldine Mail Road. A woman called police to say she had been kicked out of a car by its male driver.

When a deputy arrived, authorities said the man sped away. The deputy gave chase, following the man for several minutes.

The chase suspect then pulled into a driveway on Annunciation Street near Hirsch Road, which apparently is where the man lives.

He was taken into custody and faces felony evading charges, deputies said.
