LLANO COUNTY, Texas -- The Amber Alert issued Thursday afternoon for two teenage girls has been cancelled after they were found safe in Galveston.

Galveston police said 15-year-old Misty Sloan and her sister, 13-year-old Savannah Stone, were found at the Mariner Inn Thursday evening.

Officials issued the Amber Alert at 1 p.m. Thursday after the pair were last seen Wednesday around 1 a.m. in Kingsland. Police said they were taken by their uncle, Keith Mize, 33.

Galveston police said two men, including the uncle, were found with the two sisters.

Both men are in police custody Thursday night.

When the Amber Alert was issued, police included a description of Mize's tattoo that said "Misty and Savannah My Girls."
