CONROE, Texas— During the month of October, multiple agencies in Conroe joined together to catch adults who were allegedly targeting underage children online.

The Conroe Police Department, in conjunction with Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constables Office, Montgomery County Precinct 2 Constables Office, and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office conducted undercover operations that result in five individuals being arrested.

Each suspect believed he was meeting a minor he contacted online to engage in sexual contact when he arrived at the predetermined locations, authorities said. The suspects were arrested upon their arrival to meet the “minor.”

Seth Jones, 27; James Messina, 24; Jeff Davenport, 49; Daniel Taylor, 28; and Jeromy Leax, 39 were charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor, a felony offense.
