4 suspects on the loose after tying up, robbing family at Sugar Land area home

SUGAR LAND, Texas – Fort Bend County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for four suspects who tied up, then robbed a family at their Sugar Land area home early Monday.

It happened in the 9600 block of Weldridge Dr. in the Kingsbridge Place subdivision around 12:30 a.m.

Four adults and two children were home when the suspects barged in. The adults were all tied up and held at gunpoint. One man was assaulted and had to be treated for a head injury by the Northeast Fire Department and the Fort Bend County EMS.

The children were not harmed.

The victims said the assailants all spoke Spanish. They all wore black pants, black shirts, gloves and ski masks. One victim said one of the suspects was dark-skinned and he spoke English. Some of the t-shirts had NARCOTICS written on the back.

After ransacking the house, the suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
