HOUSTON—Three suspects have been charged in connection with the death of a young man who was shot in cold blood, then left on the side of a northwest Houston street last year, according to Houston police.
Maurice Ramon White Jr., 20; Kenya Dadua Jackson, 19 and Rodashian E. Degar, 18, were all charged with tampering/ fabricating with physical evidence.
Chase Walker, 20, was found lying on the side of the road in the 4200 block of Beran on May 15. He had been shot in the head.
On that day, witnesses reported seeing a green Pontiac traveling east on Beran, then hearing a gunshot. They said a man got out of the car, then walked over to the driver’s side and pulled Walker out. The suspect then drove off, leaving Walker on the ground.
Walker was rushed to Ben Taub Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Each suspect's bond was set at $100,000.
