2 men, 2 juveniles arrested after robbery, carjacking

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - Four people, including two juveniles, have been arrested following a carjacking and robbery in northwest Harris County.

Deputies with Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to a carjacking Sunday at Abbey Apartments in the 21800 block of Northcrest Drive. Deputies say a woman was robbed at gunpoint by a masked man who demanded her purse and car. Officials say after the woman was robbed, she ran into her house and saw the suspect leave the complex parking lot in her car.

Deputies found the woman’s car and a vehicle following it shortly after the incident. They took four suspects into custody: two juveniles and two men identified as Miguel Villegas-Lopez and Daviyon Hamilton. Authorities found the woman’s purse and a handgun in the vehicle.

Villegas-Lopez and Hamilton are charged with aggravated robbery. The two juvenile males are charged with tampering with evidence and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
