HOUSTON – Deputies are investigating a possible murder-suicide after a married couple was found dead from gunshot wounds in their northwest Houston home Thursday night.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at 8:30 p.m. to a call of a shooting in the 10200 block of Trade Winds Drive near Cloud Swept Lane.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a 37-year-old male and 33-year-old female dead from gunshot wounds, investigators said.
Deputies said that both of the couple’s parents went inside the home after they heard gunshots and found the couple that had been married 12 years dead.
The couple had five children between the two of them ranging in age from 10 to 15 years old, investigators said. They were not home when the shooting happened.
Investigators said they are investigating the fatal shooting as a possible murder-suicide, but it is too early to say who shot to whom.
