HOUSTON -- Two suspects led officers on a lengthy chase into The Heights overnight.

The men are now facing several charges.

According to officers with the Houston Police Department, it was around 1 a.m. when an officer spotted the suspects traveling inbound on 59 at the beltway. Police tried to stop the sports car because it was reported stolen, but the driver allegedly refused to pull over.

The chase went to the 610 Loop and then to the North Freeway.

Eventually the suspects exited the freeway and traveled into The Heights where they hit a dead end on Beverly. Both jumped out and ran but were later located and arrested.

Police said they found drugs and stolen merchandise in the car.
