HOUSTON—A popular market in the Heights has gained some unwanted popularity with thieves who keep breaking into the place.

Morgan Faries Weber, the owner of Revival Market located near the intersection of Heights Boulevard and White Oak Road, said someone has kicked through the glass of the front door six times so far.

“Just stop,” Weber said.

The latest incident occurred overnight at the market that has only been in business for two years.

“Just stop,” he continued.  “It’s annoying.”

The thieves have not stolen any meat, but they have gotten away with electronic equipment like iPads and a laptop computer.  They’ve also stolen an empty cash register.

“For something like this to happen seems so senseless,” said Weber.

Many of his customers agreed.

“They obviously don’t have any idea of what Revival has brought to this area of town,” said Rick Schreiber.

“Somebody needs to go find a job,” said Missy McCarty.

Authorities weren’t sure if they were dealing with a single suspect or a group of individuals.

So far, no one has been arrested.
