On Friday, the Boys & Girls Harbor, which provides residential care for children and families in crisis, honored Bob during their “Good Skipper” celebration. It was one of the many charities Bob supported, and the group’s president said he will be missed.

“I'll remember him personally, because he was a good friend, and he always picked you up,” said Don Sweat, President & CEO. “He was one of those people you always wanted to be around, because he was always on the upside, and he always picked you up.”

Bob was the first football commissioner for the group’s fantasy football draft and oversaw the event every year.
