Mom, son found dead
HOUSTON -- Capital murder charges have been filed and a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Camil Matase for the Nov. 14, 2013 murder of his wife, Emilia, and son, Emanuel Matase.
Camil Matase, 48, fled the United States after the murders and is currently being held in Romania, his homeland country. The FBI is working with the Romania Government for the return of Matase to the United States.
Teodore “Teo” Matase, 17, discovered the bodies of his mother and his older brother.
“Make sure you tell your family you love them,” Teo said. “Make sure they get that message because that's the most important thing."
He's leaning on family friends now. They have set up a fund to help with funeral expenses and Teo’s education.
