LEAGUE CITY, Texas—Authorities have charged a League City student with soliciting her “easily manipulated” friends into prostitution. The girls performed sexual acts on a 62-year-old business owner from Friendswood, police said.
Webster police charged Chelsey Elizabeth Taylor, 17, with one felony count of compelling prostitution in connection with the three child sexual assault cases against Michael Wayne McIntosh, Galveston County Assistant District Attorney Adam Poole said.
Taylor is accused of driving girls as young as 14 to McIntosh’s Friendswood home in the 600 block of Idlewood Drive between June and October. McIntosh is accused of paying the girls more than $3,600, and Webster police detective David Nettles claims Taylor took a cut of the cash, court documents reveal.
Investigators said McIntosh met Taylor at Ojos Locos. She was 16 when she was working there as a host. Police believe she took money for sex and took it a step further, by bringing her high school aged friends over to McIntosh’s home for the same thing.
“There were many occasions that multiple girls were there. The statements we’re getting is one would leave the room so they couldn’t say what happened in the bedroom with the man,” said Nettles.
Police think there are 15 other girls involved. They are asking them to please come forward. Detectives said the girls will not be facing any charges.
